Here's how to figure the daily schedule

The one constant with Duke Power's release schedule is change. The schedule for the release of water is posted online in three day blocks. The two resources are The Green River Flows Page and Scheduled Release page from Duke Power. Duke's page gives a three day schedule under the Tuxedo section. The Flows page gives next day info, three day schedule, and lake level info.

We know when the water is coming over the dam...but when can we tube?

We've comprised a chart to determine when you should arrive based on the Flows page's posted release. Just use the release time and determine your arrival. The table is based on 100% capacity release. Add 20 minutes for 60% release.

Example
Flows page says:
On Saturday, January 17 Tuxedo hydro station will run at 100% capacity from 7:00am to 10:00am.

Water is released at 7:00am, so I can start a #1, #3, or #4 ride at
(7 + 4) 11:00am OR, I could start a #2 ride at
(7 + 5) 12:00pm
That means I need to arrive at 10:30am for a #1,#3, or #4 ride, OR 11:30am for a #2 ride.

Remember to add 20 minutes to times if flow capacity is 60%
